UX Architecture

Define the tasks at hand, designate and elevate.

Successful design requires a clear, simple mapping out of objectives.

Organize, structure and label content in an easy to use and sustainable way.

New Media Initiatives

With America’s Test Kitchen, I had the opportunity to head up the IA/UX work for the new cooking school & social media platforms. I worked with brilliant publishers, like Jack Bishop, I could never love an editor more than him and was very careful and tactful in educating on the differences between interactive versus print experiences. The cooking school is now a lucrative resource. Enjoy the best of America’s Test Kitchen!  https://www.onlinecookingschool.com

Campaign Software

As UX Design Lead at Thunderhead, I produced user experience design for the ONE Engagement Platform, a cross-channel campaign marketing software – sister to AEM. Our scrum team worked hard to define what agile meant to their process. Our time, we implemented an 8-week release cycle that helped to achieve our ideal. The engagement technology we produced was responsive, using Bootstrap, with consideration for Salesforce integration.

Transaction Software

As Sr. Information Architect, UX Design Lead at Fidelity, I found the success of my work had a lot to do with learning the company hierarchy, calling up the right people and getting the right answers documented before we started building. I produced UXD for complicated investment trading platforms; deep into the heart of the broker/dealer experience. I leaned heavily on the support of the in-house user research teams for validation via user testing.

Award Winning Campaigns

At McGarryBowen, I contributed UXD to exciting work for Verizon Droid and Chase Community Giving Facebook apps; huge success metrics on both projects. This boutique agency was named AdAge Agency of the year 2009.
